I am completely exhausted right now. I had a long shift today. I turned in to work at 8AM in the morning and got off work at 10:30PM at night. Crazy shift!

My usual full shift ain’t this long but I extended my working hours at my own will. But of course, I am claiming OT too. Hahaha …

God! I could barely open my eyes anymore. I hadn’t been having good sleeping patterns for the past couple of weeks. Hahaha …

Okay … I couldn’t stand it anymore. I am going to hit the sack soon. Good night. Sweet dreams to you all out there.

I found this when I was clearing the junks stored in my HDD few days ago.

This was taken last year when Sister and I were taking a stroll along the mini-river leading to Stanstead Abbotts.

It’s been a long week. The first few days at work after I got back from my holiday was like honeymoon. Hahaha … And things started to get hectic these few days as it’s almost the end of July.

I had almost done half of the overall staff’s salary. And I am now left with another half. I think I have to turn in work earlier tomorrow so that I could finish them in advance. Frankly speaking, I have another major project going on which needed immediate attention. But then, I will try to settle it as soon as possible when I am done with the salary thingy.

By the way, I had successfully completed my probation; hence I am currently working as a Administration & Human Resource Executive. I am no longer a Management Trainee or Clerk. Well, before I was being confirmed, some of the staffs in my company thought that I was a clerk. You know why?

When I first joined the company, they took me as a Management Trainee whereby I have to learn practically everything about the company besides Accounting. I started from scratch. I learnt how to deal with Retail Management System (RMS). I did clerical job as well which included issuing Purchase Order, DN, matching invoices, creating PLU, price changes and Stock Inventory System (SIS). All completed in less than two weeks.

On the last day of my first week, I was being transferred to be a Cashier for a day. God! It was a long day and tiring as well coz I was on heels. Hahaha …

On my second week, I was being sent to departments and trained on how to be a Sales Assistant in the Electrical Department as we happened to have an Electrical Promotional Fair at The Mall Atrium. I was working in departments for like two weeks before I was being transferred to Human Resource Department for training.

Initially, when I first joined the company, I was being told that my probation will last for six months. And I have to learn everything from scratch including going into departments. And my not-so-last destination happened to be Human Resource Department before they officially transferred me to the selling floor for full force training (which backfired in the end).

The company and I estimated that I might have to take at least one month before I could completely understand how their system works. Human Resource Department is one of the most complicated departments in the company whereby I believed that no one would dream of working in there.

A month after I was being transferred to HR Department for training, the upper management sent a memo down stating that the ex-HR Clerk will be transferred to the other branch for Accounting job.

When I first got interviewed for the job, I was being asked which department greatly interests me. Hahaha … And the first answer which I gave was Human Resource Department as I find it quite fascinating compared to the other subjects which I studied back in university. Little did I know that it ain’t as fascinating as how I dreamt of in the first place. Hahaha … But eventually, I got over it. In fact, I don’t find it as horrible as how my colleagues described it to me.

When I teased about requesting the management to transfer them into HR Department to replace me, they practically had goosebumps all over their body. That was interesting. Therefore, it gave me the idea that they really don’t like working in HR Department. But hey, all your salary comes from the HR Department.

In conclusion, the reason why some of the staffs believed that I was the Clerk because I was there to take over Judy’s (ex-HR Clerk) job when she left for the other branch. There, it was all a misunderstanding!

There, I was left all on my own. It took me about two months before I get the hang of it. And now, we are about to hire another new HR Clerk to replace me. If there’s anyone who is interested in doing clerical job, you could always contact me. xD
