It's finally Hari Raya as I had been waiting for this "memorable" day for quite some time. It means farewell to the period of hell and we shall meet again next year – which is another 365 days. Hahaha … I had been working full shifts for weeks and not having any rest day for three weeks. But I doubt I could have my rest day next week and I am replacing another colleague to do opening and closing of the store. It's alright. I am gonna start my one week holiday in just a week time. Itinerary is not planned yet as I don't have the time to do so. I don't even know who is attending the reunion gathering. Andrea and I planned to have our overnight reunion gathering to be done at Marriott as they are now doing room promotion in conjunction to Malaysian Independence Day. Never mind about that. I still have another one week to work on it. I was browsing through the folders in my computer and realized that I had so many pictures taken while dining outside and yet never had the time to update my blog. I had been having the urge to update about my frustration at work in the past few weeks but decided not to in the end since this is a public blog. It is not appropriate to have an outburst of my working life when you don't even know who is reading your blog. If I were to have an outburst of my personal or working life in here, this blog will no longer appear to be a public blog. I was thinking of making this a private blog. But I'll see how things go in the next few weeks. If I am hardworking enough to update, then I might reconsider making it public or else it's gonna end up being my personal shrink. Hahaha … Anyways, I had finally gotten myself a new watch. Hahaha … The Casio which I wanted had been sold out so I was left with no choice to go for alternative. So, I bought another Swatch instead. Hahaha … I had been using Swatch for quite some time. The first Swatch I had was a gift from Sister for passing my GCE "O" Level examination. Hahaha … I was using an Oasis watch which I bought from UK. But it kept on giving me rashes as it wasn't made of stainless steel. So, I got myself a second Swatch. It was white in color. The skin of the PVC strap started to peel eventually after some time. I have no idea why. I stopped using it when it started to get hideous. I got fed up for not having any watch with me when I was working as I don't usually bring my phone with me. In the end, I bought the Swatch which I had been eyeing for quite some time. It costs me $150. It was quite heavy for a female watch but I like it anyway. xD I think it's time for me to hit the sack now. Ciao …
I had finally decided to cancel my upcoming trip to Singapore in July. Supposedly, I had planned to go Singapore in the mid of July since I was unable to visit Taipei in June. But in the end, I had decided to give up on both of the trip and came up with another grand one. Hahaha … It will cost me a bomb but they were the places which I wanted to visit since years ago.
So, here’s my grand plan. I am returning to UK next year for a two weeks holiday in the mid of April. Nothing is set yet but I will make sure that it will happen this time. Hahaha … The main purpose for returning wasn’t plainly to visit United Kingdom but to tour around European countries. Muahahahaz …
I had been doing a rough sketch in my brain of the cities I wanna visit when I return to UK next year. That will be roughly two days of shopping spree in London. One and a half day in Paris visiting Disneyland and Eiffel Tower. Another two days in Milan doing window shopping and perhaps another three days in either Prague or some other place which I have yet came up with.
I don’t think that I would be doing much visit to the cities in UK as I had been to most of the famous ones. I had been to Manchester, Liverpool, York, Newcastle, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow and etc.
Imagine taking picture with Mickey and Minnie Mouse … Yay! I can’t wait … And of course, it comes with a sacrifice - flat wallet by the end of the trip. Hahaha … Anyways, I had been doing a rough calculation on how much the expenses might be. I am definitely not gonna fly to UK with Air Asia. I’ve been checking the price of air tickets to UK from various airlines’ websites.
I have checked RBA fare and they are currently selling return ticket for B$2,200. *sweat* And the price from SIA is even more outrageous. It was about S$4,200 for economy seating. Double the price as compared to RBA. Qatar Airways is a cheaper alternative after Air Asia. They are selling the ticket for about B$1,600 but the plane departs from KL, which mean I have to spend extra dollars to travel from Brunei to KL. I am currently still checking out fares with Royal Jordanian Airways, Thai Airline and Emirates Airline. Royal Jordanian Airways is currently offering about the same price as Qatar Airways.
I am estimating that this trip is definitely gonna cost me about B$4,000++. Sigh … Its gonna be even more worse if UK government decided that Malaysians required travel VISA to UK and another £1,000 deposit which is non-refundable until you leave UK. Double sigh …
Okay … Time to update my blog before my brain turns rusty. Hahaha … Anyways, I have got loads of photos which I have yet edited. Well, I am not talking about Photoshop kind of edit but I do edit pictures before I post them up. xD We set out from home at about fifteen minutes past five and arrived at the airport twenty minutes later to do check-in before going out again for dinner. Sister had her luggage cling filmed. Just as the same as I used to have when I flew back from UK to Brunei. It costs B$8.00 for a big luggage to be cling filmed. I was actually planning to take a picture of the price listing for the service but got partially blocked. Hence, you only see price without any description. Hahaha … Oops … When we were done checking in, we went for dinner at Tai Ka Luk. It's located nearby the airport. Initially, we planned to go Excapade Sushi. But I guess it sounds like a heavy meal for someone who is gonna be on air for the next 17 hours. So, that is why we ended up at Tai Ka Luk. I ordered for Pai Ku Wang (Pork Ribs). I had been having this most of the time and I am starting to get sick of it. I preferred the Pai Ku Wang from New Sentosa in Gadong. Japanese Tofu with Salted Fish Pai Ku Wang (Pork Rib)
Yay! I will be moving back home for real in one week time. Hahaha … Both Sister and Dad will be back home respectively. Hahaha … Anyways, haven't been doing much shopping lately as I had been pretty busy with work for the past few days. Hahaha … I am back at home right now coz Wednesday is my usual day off from work. I was supposed to go down town to have some haircut but then felt lazy to do so hence stayed at home and continue with my downloading marathon. xD I had been downloading some of the latest drama series. It took me a while to get downloading software which the transfer rate could be as fast as my previous downloading software. I am currently using QVOD. Quite fast and I am extremely happy and satisfied with it. =D I can finally get to download The Mentalist and Ugly Betty after not being able to download for about a month. Anyways, I'll show you what I had been downloading and watching lately. Most of them are Koreans. *sweat* I haven't been a big fan of Korean Drama Series until recently. xD 1. The Mentalist Season 2 I think the storyline had gone slightly boring over time. The first season had been a very nice one. 2. Ugly Betty Season 4 3. White Collar Season 1 I liked this one the most coz Neal Caffrey is so gorgeous and he's smart! Hahaha … Got you! As some of you might have known, I will be temporarily moving to company accommodation due to some personal reasons. So, I am predicting that this is gonna be the last entry for a short while. I doubt I would be blogging much whilst staying at company accommodation coz I haven't got the right software to edit picture in my old laptop. Anyways, I am almost done packing but there are still some stuff to be packed tomorrow before I leave the house. I am bringing the little carrot "bolster" which my colleagues bought for me on my last birthday. Hahaha … Normally, I am not someone who is fond of holding a bolster to sleep. But I might be having trouble sleeping in a new and strange environment. You might not be seeing me online very often but I'll try to go online as much as possible. I am expecting that free wireless signal is impossible. So, I had brought along my external HDD with indefinite supplies of drama series to kill the time when I am working morning shift. Hahaha … xD P.S: JiaJia, if you coming to Gadong on any day when I am working morning shift, please feel free to look for me. Or I might as mould at home. Hahaha … Just kidding! As usual, work has been pretty hectic lately. All staffs were required to work full shifts for the next few weeks due to the company annual stocktaking event and some of the staffs will be going on holiday in the early of next month. Argh!!! My leave application was being withdrawn by my managers as they think that the company will be facing extreme shortage of management staffs on that particular week which I applied leave. But they do allow me to go on leave during weekends. Muahahaha … Initially, I applied leave for five days in a row but then it's gonna "shrink" to two days only. Hahaha … Anyways, I am currently planning my vacation to both Singapore and KL during July. There might be some changes with the itinerary. I had been changing my itinerary for the past few days and I pretty sure that Andrea has gotten sick of me for not being decisive enough. Well, it's not my fault anyways. Hahaha … But this time, I am gonna do it the hard way. I am gonna book the ticket before and only apply leave once the ticket has been confirmed. Hahaha … Initially, I am planning to go SG for 3D2N. In the end, I'm intrigued to go KL as well. Hahaha … So, I invited Andrea to tag along. Initially, she was interested. But by the end of the day, she told me that why would she want to go KL when she could have all the fun in SG. *sweat* So, I am looking for a travelling partner now. It's so hard to look for a travelling partner to go KL with me coz I am the only weirdo coming out from the jungle who has yet been to KL. I once got mocked by my ex university housemates back in the UK for not been to KL despite being a Malaysian. Argh!!! Anyways, I shall negotiate my way out with Andrea. Hahaha … But I don't think I am generous enough to sponsor her entire trip to KL. Hahaha … I shall see how things and decide what to do later. *sigh* I was browsing through W H Smith and Waterstones website a while ago and found out that two of my most wanted fictions are finally out in the market. I know it's a bit too late. Hahaha … I had been busy for the past two weeks. I was required to work full shifts for about two weeks due to the fact that the civil servants got their pay and their bonus as well. So the company predicted that there will be a lot of customers coming in to get the necessities for their children going back to school. I had been addicted to the Creating Destiny lately. Never seem to get sick of it. How I wish the drama could come to an end soon. It is so damn frustrating having to wait two episodes every week. Anyways, I bought an iPod Shuffle few days ago. It was actually an impulse purchase but I am not at all unhappy with my new gadget. But then, I am still planning to get an iPod Touch in the near future, if that's possible! Hahaha … I went to Incomm few days ago and came across a not so new and not so old Samsung model – Samsung Star. The first time when I saw the phone was in a commercial at the cinema before they start showing 2012 few months ago. I tried the phone and found that the touch screen isn't as sensitive as compared to my Samsung Tocco. The price is quite acceptable – BND$258.00. To be honest, I find it cheap. As my current phone costs me a bomb – BND$1.000! But I like it, coz its pink! Muahahahaz … Actually, I reserved a black one but then they sent me a pink one instead. Lucky that I am a girl or else I would have demanded the company to change the phone for me. xD
It's my day off again and I am doing nothing at home. I slept extremely early this morning – 4AM! So, I practically slept the whole morning off till noon and another several hours in the evening right till dinner time. Call it a weird sleeping habit, I don't care. Hahaha … I went out with JiaJia, Jenny and Yen yesterday night as they were looking for Christmas gifts for each other. Since I am working on Christmas night, there's no point of me getting presents, I guess? Before we hit The Mall, we went to a rather small shop in Kiulap called Joey Joe Co where it sells all sorts of funky accessories, stationary and pirated DVDs. I bought quite a few of their cute stationary. Can't resist the temptation. Hahaha … Went to The Mall after we are done with our purchases. Spent quite a lot of time at both Summit and Cartino Sonea. JiaJia bought a pair of open toe flat pumps while Jenny got herself a pair of pink and white high heeled pumps and a pair of sandals from Cartino Sonea. Had supper at Cheezbox since we have to wait for the rain to die down a bit before heading home. It's been a while since I last use my laptop ever since I got my new desktop. I was using the both of them yesterday night. Was transferring some leftover dramas from the old notebook to my new desktop.
I am going to Singapore for good. Nope. The previous statement was just a joke. I am going for a holiday instead of permanent stay. I doubt Singapore would be the place whereby I would consider for long term stay. But well, I hope I wouldn't get attracted to the lifestyles and culture in Singapore. Well, I might. You'll never know. Hahaha … I do find Singapore a bit similar to London in some aspects. As far as I know, the transportation is a blessing in Singapore just like London. Anyways, I am going with some friends and probably will meet up with Andrea (that's if she's free enough to entertain me!). Hahaha … The overall air ticket fee is about BND$150. I am flying from Miri, by the way. Hotel is roughly about BND$100 for two nights per person. It's time to do a bit of deep research on the places which we will be going during our stay in Singapore. There wouldn't be much places, I would say since we do have a bit of problem with the time issue. Hahaha … We will only be staying for two nights. Hahaha … First day will be all about SHOPPING and we will be travelling up to Sentosa Island on the second day. I guess this is all for now. See ya!

Had watched various sort of drama series. I had even re-watched some of them. Had an afternoon nap and slept till 5PM. *sweat* I don't even know what I am doing here writing all these craps. Argh! I was browsing through some of my holiday pictures back in Europe a while ago. When the pictures were just taken, I found them to be extremely hideous. But then, I thought that they were funny just now instead of hideous. Funny, huh??? Life is always weird. Hahaha … I was looking for pictures to be used as my desktop background. Couldn't find anything decent so ended up with something like this … Weird, huh? But then they serve just fine as my desktop background. In fact, I quite like the lighting. Hahaha … This was taken like two years ago when I was still living in university dorm. The strawberries were a bit too sour for my liking hence I was not able to finish and let the rest rot on their own. Hahaha … I do miss university life. Well, nothing is perfect. When you are still studying, you desperately wanted to get out of school and start working. But when you started working, only then you realized that studying is far less stressful than working. Well, I am not complaining that my work is stressful or whatever shit. I don't mind getting the chance to finish up what I left behind. As if there's anything I left behind! Hahaha … That was just a figure of speech. PS: I am on leave for the whole weekend. It's time for me to enjoy watching movies and drama series with my new 20" LCD Monitor. Muahahahahaz … But I don't think I would be that lucky coz JiaJia invited me to accompany her to the saloon for hair and nail treatment. She just bleached her hair blonde so she desperately needed some sort of treatment before they got worst. Anyways, I was thinking of coloring my hair too. Hahaha … But not so soon, I guess. I really needed a holiday right now but then it seems like a farfetched dream. I am not saying that I am financially incapable of having one but due to job restriction, I can't have it for the time being. It has always been a peak season around this time of the year in the place where I am working now. Therefore, no one is allowed to have holiday during this one month peak season. I was indeed thrilled when my friend invited me to join him for a 4 days 3 night holiday trip to KK to visit our friend. But then, it was only short term happiness for the both of us. Basically, he just wanted to have fun in KK before he starts to work like a workaholic and I think I should reward myself with a holiday trip after working continuously for one month with seven full shifts per week. Last week, he even offered to visit me in Bandar but then got cancelled coz I don't have the time to meet him. Ever since I have taken up this job in the first place, I have self-prepared that I am no longer gonna be able to enjoy those weekend off day and Public Holidays. I do have Public Holidays but then I can only claim it at a later stage unless the Public Holiday happened to fall on my original off day by coincidence. Basically, I would say that I spent most of my waking hours working. What a loyal staff I am! As if!!! That's because I am forced to do so. Hahaha … =D Initially, I got my approval from my Senior Manager about the leave. But then half an hour later, he told me its better if I could cancel my leave coz all Non-Muslim operational staff has to work full shift until the second batch of Muslim staff that went for Hari Raya had came back. One of my best friends had also invited me to go Miri with her some time around the mid of September. I turned down the invitation coz I knew that I definitely wouldn't be able to take leave during that period. Anyways, I think I will go to Singapore for holiday some time around November to visit my darling Andrea. Muahahahaz … I heard that one of the travel agencies in Brunei is offering damn cheap deal to Singapore with accommodation included for 3 days and 2 nights. It's only BND$255!!! Damn cheap, isn't it???!!!!
I had been extremely busy lately, in case some of you had been wondering where the hell I have been for the past few weeks. I had been working non-stop without having any rest day for the past two weeks. Lucky that I am still kicking alive even though I had been working hard for the last two weeks. Hahaha … Seriously, I am both physically and emotionally exhausted at this very moment. Sometimes, I do wish that I could take medical leave and rest at home. xD Anyways, I don't think I would be able to blog much further. Kinda sleepy and I wanna start reading the book which I had just bought from Best Eastern after I had my dinner. It's been a while since I was being so addicted to reading. I used to like reading but then few months after I started working, the novelty sort of worn off. I had bought quite a few new books but then some of them were left untouched. Anyways, time to go now. See ya!
Yay! It's my day off today. Well, not exactly. I applied leave for this particular day coz I don't feel like working. I desperately some good sleeping patterns. Had been working full shifts for some time. I will be going on a full force full shifts marathon starting from next weekend for a complete one month before I get to go back to my normal working shifts. Sometimes, I do wonder why I am always ending up with jobs that have odd hours. Hahaha … Most of my friends work from 8 to 5. That's what I called normal working hours. Most of my friends think that my working hours are crazy. Frankly speaking, when I first started the job, it was quite hard for me to adjust with the odd working hours. But once, I was being transferred to the Human Resource Department, it wasn't hard to endure with the long hours. When you are working in my department, you will find yourself complaining that time is always never enough for you to finish all your tasks. And then getting all jumpy and snappy when people are always bothering you when you are trying desperately hard enough to finish things on time when the deadline is just round the corner. Believe it or not, that's my work life. Ever since I started this job, there was never once that I complained from being stress at work. I wouldn't say that the job which I am having now is a complete stress-free job. Well, there were times when I was about to flung things or perhaps hit the telephone with a hammer. Seriously, I did have such kind of thoughts before. I hate it when staff intercoms into my office when I am dealing with cash. There was once when I thought of pulling the cord out of the telephone. But then think twice, better not do it. I would have been a dead meat if there happened to be some important calls. Hahaha … But some of my managers are smart enough and they tried my hand phone instead. There was once when one of the staffs are injured while chopping the chicken parts hence needed to be sent to the A&E immediately. But the driver was nowhere to be found. I wasn't in the office too. My department manager tried calling my hand phone but to no avail. I don't have a habit of bringing my hand phone wherever I go. I tried once before and I left my phone in the departmental store by accident. Lucky that the phone was found by one of the staff and returned it to me. I was unaware that my phone was gone missing before she returned it to me. Ever since that incident, I always stash my hand phone inside my handbag and don't even bother to bring it with me even though I am going for lunch. Okay … I am gonna go on a sidetracked topic in a bit. Here it goes … xD … I am desperately in need of a new watch. I broke two of the branded watches which I used to own. My Swatch broke down like a month ago due to severe dropping at the office and at home. And the history repeats on my Oasis watch. Hahaha … The Swatch is beyond repair. It was a gift from my Sister when I had graduated from high school and the Oasis watch was a gift for myself before I left UK for Brunei. I had been doing some hunting on getting a new watch for myself. Initially, I was interested with a Guess watch. But then gave up on the idea as the bracelet wasn't made of stainless steel. I have allergies towards things which ain't made of stainless steel. When it comes to wearing all those accessories, I would always go for pure gold or silver if I wouldn't want my skin to be red all those rashes and scratches. And furthermore, the Guess watch which I was interested ain't cheap at all. It was about BND$250 but it is pretty. Lately, I had been having interest on watches which have got flower bracelet instead of the normal bracelet. I had seen one from Swatch which has got almost the same design as the Guess watch displayed above. But still, the Swatch is cheap either. But I bet it's not stainless steel judging by the price they are offering. I think I might just settle for some cheapskate watch for the time being before I made my mind on which watch to purchase. =D PS: I am supposed to go for a hike with JiaJia this evening. But I doubt it's gonna be a success anyways coz the clouds are all greyish. 
It’s been a while last I last updated my blog. I guess the novelty has started to wear off on its own. Hahaha … Had been working full shifts for the past few days. Work has been piling up and I am required to work full shifts everyday for about two months. Yeah … I know this is crazy. I myself thought so too. But what can I do? xD
JiaJia, Diddy and I went out for early supper yesterday night at Mamih as someone told me that she wants to de-stress. Well, guess that work has started to get on everyone’s nerves lately.
Two of my colleagues had asked me when I am moving to the company accommodation. Guess what? I am not moving afterall. Hahaha … The thought of sharing a bathroom, kitchen and a washing machine among ten occupants is a complete nightmare. *sweat* Serious! I wouldn’t even dream of moving to the company accommodation unless necessary.
By the way, I had dinner at Excapade Sushi few nights ago with Alan and Francis. I ordered some kind of chicken chop rice and the portion was too much for me alone. I was on the verge of feeling sick even though I was only halfway through my dinner. I had also ordered a glass of Avocado Milkshake. I couldn’t taste much of the Avocado but Vanilla Ice-Cream.
