First of all, Merry Christmas everyone! The birthday girl! My mischievous birthday surprise for Hui Mei turned out to be a huge success. We managed to patronize and fool her for about an hour before she forced the truth out of my colleague with a fruit knife on his neck. Hahaha … The previous statement about the fruit knife wasn't true at all. I was just exaggerating. Hahaha … We had one of the store assistants to deliver the birthday present on behalf of a non-existent admirer of hers. Remember that we wrote a phone number on a piece of note pinned to the parcel? We were surprised that she had the guts to try calling the phone number written on the note. As both my colleague and I bet that she doesn't have the guts to do so. We had underestimated her! Lesson learnt! Never judge a book by its cover or else you will be in trouble big time. My colleague suggested writing one of our managers' phone number on the note was part of our mischievous plan coz she bet that Hui Mei wouldn't have the guts to call. I disagreed. Lucky that I stick to my own instinct or else we would have gotten into big trouble. I was busy back in my office when she got the parcel so I wasn't able to see her reaction when she got the parcel. So, she called number written on the piece of note. What I heard from my colleague was that the telephone conversation was a funny one. Both of them don't know who were on the other line. They were there repeating the same question like who are you for a couple of times before the guy on the line knew what was going on. She was looking for clues of who would the anonymous admirer would be. She knew that it was just a prank. But it never hurts to know. Look at the amount of hassles she has to get through before she gets her present. Muahahahaz ... Finally, her patience had paid off! Seriously, it was a real pain in the ass when you planned to have a birthday surprise. I was being thrown a birthday surprise before and I hate surprises. Surprises mean you have to be extremely patient which I am not good at. I mean there were different kinds of birthday surprise. But I hate those kind of surprises which requires you to wait before they let you know what was going on the spot. Enough of all sorts of rambles going around. Time for pictures. There was a video taken but I doubt it's a good idea to post as I had a hunch that I will be slaughtered to death if my colleague found out what I had done. We had lunch at Pizza Hut. JiaJia, Diddy, Yen and I to The Mall this evening for our last minute Christmas shopping. I bought Diddy a Giordano T-shirt as his Christmas present. Was planning to buy a birthday present for a friend as well but then couldn't find the right one. In the end, I was tempted to buy the same shirt for myself as well. It was a black T-shirt. It was sold at the Men department at Giordano. I find the monkey on the shirt extremely cute with bling-bling. Initially, Diddy wasn't keen about trying out the shirt coz he wasn't comfortable with T-shirt with shining bling-bling. But then forced him to try it out with the excuse that I needed compare sizes so that I know which size I should get for my friend. Hahaha … It does the trick. He was quite satisfied with the outcome of the T-shirt even though it had shining crystal studs on the T-shirt. Muahahahaz … JiaJia gave me a fortune cookie just now. And guess what the little note inside says? Tadah!
As you know, I "used to have" a Dalmatian pet – Lucky, as my pet model. Note the apostrophe symbols in the previous statement. Hahaha … Lucky wasn't mine. "Borrowed" Lucky from my Sister. But now I have my own pet model called Hello Hippo! *sweat* Now … Here's something off the topic. It's my colleague birthday tomorrow. Yeah! She's a Christmas Eve baby. My other two colleagues and I shared a birthday present for her. We bought her a lip gloss from Laneige. And then, I was up again with my mischievous plans. It's no fun if there's no prank and surprise on birthday. Thank goodness that they didn't pull anything bad on my last birthday. Her present was a very small one. So, we wrapped it up on a Double A packing box stuffed with loads of newspapers. And stashed her present in one of the crumpled newspapers. Hahaha … I hope she doesn't throw the whole thing away. Hahaha … Coz you have to be very patient and unwrap all the crumpled newspapers. Hahaha … And worst, we wrapped her present box with newspapers instead of fancy gift wrapping paper. We wrote a note on top of the birthday box. Planning to ask one of the store assistants in our company to hand her the present for us on behalf of a non-existent anonymous admirer of hers. Hahaha … We even wrote a telephone number for her to call. Hahaha … Well, the phone number belongs to someone in our company and someone she knew too. Tadah … Here's birthday present box. The upper version note was written by me. But asked my other male colleague to write again since my handwriting doesn't looked like a guy handwriting at all. And worst, got laughed for the wrong spelling. Argh! I did my best, okay? That's how much I could pull off. We have yet handed her the present. Gonna do it tomorrow. Still planning on how I should film the whole procedures without letting her know that it was one of my mischievous plans. Bought myself an "imitate" NICI stuffed doll this evening after dinner @ explorer, The Mall. I used to have about the same thing but it was lost few months ago. The one which I had last time looked much better than the new one. It isn't as dark in color as the one I just bought. My colleague asked me why on earth I got myself a pig stuffed doll. He must be having some sort of hallucination. I think it's still logical or reasonable if he mistook it to be a donkey. But a pig???!!!! Seriously, he severely in need of an eye check. It's my day off again and I am doing nothing at home. I slept extremely early this morning – 4AM! So, I practically slept the whole morning off till noon and another several hours in the evening right till dinner time. Call it a weird sleeping habit, I don't care. Hahaha … I went out with JiaJia, Jenny and Yen yesterday night as they were looking for Christmas gifts for each other. Since I am working on Christmas night, there's no point of me getting presents, I guess? Before we hit The Mall, we went to a rather small shop in Kiulap called Joey Joe Co where it sells all sorts of funky accessories, stationary and pirated DVDs. I bought quite a few of their cute stationary. Can't resist the temptation. Hahaha … Went to The Mall after we are done with our purchases. Spent quite a lot of time at both Summit and Cartino Sonea. JiaJia bought a pair of open toe flat pumps while Jenny got herself a pair of pink and white high heeled pumps and a pair of sandals from Cartino Sonea. Had supper at Cheezbox since we have to wait for the rain to die down a bit before heading home. It's been a while since I last use my laptop ever since I got my new desktop. I was using the both of them yesterday night. Was transferring some leftover dramas from the old notebook to my new desktop.
I am going to Singapore for good. Nope. The previous statement was just a joke. I am going for a holiday instead of permanent stay. I doubt Singapore would be the place whereby I would consider for long term stay. But well, I hope I wouldn't get attracted to the lifestyles and culture in Singapore. Well, I might. You'll never know. Hahaha … I do find Singapore a bit similar to London in some aspects. As far as I know, the transportation is a blessing in Singapore just like London. Anyways, I am going with some friends and probably will meet up with Andrea (that's if she's free enough to entertain me!). Hahaha … The overall air ticket fee is about BND$150. I am flying from Miri, by the way. Hotel is roughly about BND$100 for two nights per person. It's time to do a bit of deep research on the places which we will be going during our stay in Singapore. There wouldn't be much places, I would say since we do have a bit of problem with the time issue. Hahaha … We will only be staying for two nights. Hahaha … First day will be all about SHOPPING and we will be travelling up to Sentosa Island on the second day. I guess this is all for now. See ya!
Not because I get to rest at home or whatsoever, but my current all time favorite Korean drama series – Creating Destiny will be aired on every weekend. Hahaha … Seriously, I don't think I will get sick of re-watching the series over and over again everyday. I love it to bits! I am currently downloading another Korean drama series – Who Are You? Started watching it and I am starting to love it. Pretty funny. Will give my verdict once I had completed watching the drama. xD
I'm bored! I should have gone to work instead of stayed at home. Hahaha … Have I turned into a workaholic unconsciously? Hahaha … Been hogging the computer non-stop from morning till night. Had watched various sort of drama series. I had even re-watched some of them. Had an afternoon nap and slept till 5PM. *sweat* I don't even know what I am doing here writing all these craps. Argh! Finally … After endless of hide and seek, I was able to download the song which I desperately wanted. I came across this MV yesterday night when I was searching for the latest episode of Creating Destiny. Played it and got hooked. You may not like it but then it sounds nicer if you listen to it with the original MV. Creating Destiny is a new Korean Drama Series aired like two months ago, I think. Initially, I don't find it very interesting. But then you'll get addicted to the drama over time. To me, the male lead was just an ordinary looking guy but then you'll find him very attractive the more you get into the drama. Weird, huh? I think I'll just show you the MV. JiaJia also agreed that the MV is damn nice. Hahaha … Now she's asking me to copy the drama for her. *winkz*
Us three girls – JiaJia, Jenny and I went to some salon at Batu Bersurat yesterday afternoon to do hair treatment. It took us quite some time to figure out where it is located as there is no signboard signaling their existence. The place is called AMO according to JiaJia. After circling around the area for like ten minutes, we finally reached the place in one piece. Hahaha ... We got there near four and there aren't many customers in there besides a few middle-aged ladies getting some manicure and pedicure. The three of us had hair treatments. Both Jenny and JiaJia had a better hair treatment than me as they had colored hair. So, they need extra special treatment. Hahaha … I was the first to get my hair washed, steamed and then blown dry. The hairstylist asked me whether I wanted to have it straight or curls. I opted for curls this time as I wanted to see how it will turns out. The outcome wasn't bad at all. I quite like the curls. And then I had pedicure. My toe nails were damn ugly since ages ago. I am least bothered about my toe nails coz no matter how hard I tried trimming them, they just wouldn't look nice. So, I decided to go for pedicure. The lady scrubbed my feet and heels. I do have cracked heels ever since I started working. The more high heels you wear, the higher chance you'll have cracked heels. xD It doesn't take long before my toe nails looking nice and pretty. I requested for a French Manicure since I am not so into Nail Arts. JiaJia and Jenny had Nail Arts the next day. Jenny had nail extension as her nails aren't long enough to have pretty nail arts. So, she went for extensions. It took her three hours before they were done with designs. Hahaha … That's how they do extension. JiaJia getting her Nail Arts done ... I was browsing through some of my holiday pictures back in Europe a while ago. When the pictures were just taken, I found them to be extremely hideous. But then, I thought that they were funny just now instead of hideous. Funny, huh??? Life is always weird. Hahaha … I was looking for pictures to be used as my desktop background. Couldn't find anything decent so ended up with something like this … Weird, huh? But then they serve just fine as my desktop background. In fact, I quite like the lighting. Hahaha … This was taken like two years ago when I was still living in university dorm. The strawberries were a bit too sour for my liking hence I was not able to finish and let the rest rot on their own. Hahaha … I do miss university life. Well, nothing is perfect. When you are still studying, you desperately wanted to get out of school and start working. But when you started working, only then you realized that studying is far less stressful than working. Well, I am not complaining that my work is stressful or whatever shit. I don't mind getting the chance to finish up what I left behind. As if there's anything I left behind! Hahaha … That was just a figure of speech. PS: I am on leave for the whole weekend. It's time for me to enjoy watching movies and drama series with my new 20" LCD Monitor. Muahahahahaz … But I don't think I would be that lucky coz JiaJia invited me to accompany her to the saloon for hair and nail treatment. She just bleached her hair blonde so she desperately needed some sort of treatment before they got worst. Anyways, I was thinking of coloring my hair too. Hahaha … But not so soon, I guess.
