Before I start rambling about my daily snippets of life, a very Happy Birthday greeting to Alan who is turning 23 in just half an hour. Hahaha … May the upcoming year be a blessed one for you! Alright … I am back at home now. Dad picked me up from hostel in the evening. But I will still be staying in hostel for another two weeks due to the fact that my dad still couldn't drive in daylight. Anyways, there aren't many things which I could blog about as there hasn't been much happening on me lately. I was sick last week with sore throat, fever, stuffed nose and cough. My voice is still hoarse and I am not fully recovered yet. Hahaha … Anyways, I will be going back to the office early in the morning tomorrow to get some unfinished business done. Argh!!! How I hate to go back to the office during my off day but what can I do? They need to be done ASAP. Damn!!! Okay … I am gonna rewind back my memories for what had been happening for the past few days. I took a day off from work last Saturday as KinG came down from KB and JiaJia invited me to join her at the salon as she wanted to have a hair fringe shortened. She picked me up from The Mall some time after half past one. Her appointment was at 2PM. I had a pedicure as the nails had started to get hideous looking. Hahaha … We left the salon at about half past three and went back to The Mall to pick KinG up before we set out for Yayasan. The trip to Yayasan had been not been productive as we couldn't get things done in the end. We went to have tea break instead at Kiulap. We had ABC and Rojak at one of those coffee shops in Kiulap. I had Jagung and Grass Jelly ABC. It tastes just fine but not as nice as the one I usually had at Centrepoint Food Court in Gadong. =D The three of us were starving hence we dig in without taking any picture besides a picture of my drink. Hahaha … So, you could imagine how famished we were. Hahaha … While we were halfway finishing our food, KinG asked what are we gonna have for dinner. *sweat* Seriously, there isn't much decent eatery in town. Suddenly, I came up with Shabu Shabu Icebar. They serve Halal Steamboat. Hahaha … Both JiaJia and I were completely stuffed after having our drinks and Rojak. However, KinG insisted that we must have steamboat for dinner. Duh!!! So, we went to reserve a table at Shabu Shabu Icebar. It turned out that the place was fully reserved for the night unless we have our dinner earlier. Initially, I felt like backing out since I was really full and doesn't have the appetite to continue stuffing myself with more food since I was still unwell. Both JiaJia and I were practically forced to have steamboat as dinner with him. *sigh* What can we do? He's the guest and we have to do what he says. Hahaha … JiaJia and I shared a platter while King had the whole platter for himself. Hahaha … He was having a hard time finishing the whole lot in the end. Serves him right for forcing us to have dinner with him in the first place. Hahaha …. Just kidding! I hope he doesn't see this or else I am in trouble big time. Nevertheless, the dinner had been fun! JiaJia and I ordered a set meal with beef and KinG had a set meal with crabs. They do serve a generous amount of seafood ingredients. But bear in mind that the mussels were not fresh enough. The mussels which we had on our platters haven't been the freshest ones they have got as both KinG and I claimed that there's a weird smell. In overall, the price was reasonable as the portion has been quite generous. However, if you are not a big eater, I would recommend you sharing the platter with someone or else you will be having a hard time finishing it off. Hahaha … It was raining cats and dogs when we had finished our dinner. JiaJia drove us back to The Mall where KinG parked his car. We waited for the rain to die down before he sends me home and drives back to KB. Unfortunately, the rain showed no sign of dying down. He sent me home some time before half past eight. Had a long bath and continue reading my book. Hahaha … Slept quite early that night as I was exhausted and tired.
